Quality Control

The Approved Sample Is the Contract

Quality is not an inspection at the end — it is a system through the middle. Six gates stand between raw hide and your container, and every one of them documents what it sees.

Gate 1 — Incoming Material

Hides graded for grain integrity, thickness and finish; zippers, hardware and linings verified against purchase specifications. Substandard lots are rejected before they touch production.

Gate 2 — Cutting

Panel placement audited against stress maps — load-bearing panels cut only from prime hide sections. Colour-batch consistency checked across the full order.

Gate 3 — Stitching

Stitch density, tension, thread match and seam strength checked inline at operator level and again at line-supervisor level. Rework happens on the spot, not at final inspection.

Gate 4 — Assembly & Finishing

Hardware anchoring load-checked, zip runs cycled, edges inspected under raking light. Surface finish reviewed against the approved sample — the sample is the contract.

Gate 5 — Final AQL Inspection

Piece-by-piece final inspection against an agreed AQL standard covering construction, measurements, function and cosmetics. Full inspection reports available per shipment.

Gate 6 — Pre-Shipment Documentation

Packed goods photographed, carton weights verified, and inspection documentation shared with you before container loading. Third-party inspectors (SGS, QIMA, etc.) always welcome.

Material Standards, In Writing

100% full grain buffalo leather. YKK zippers. Rust-proof metalware. These are not marketing phrases — they are specifications written into every purchase order and verified at Gate 1 and Gate 5. If a shipment doesn't match the approved sample, it doesn't ship.
